Attention Pomfret and area residents: FREE RABIES CLINIC, Saturday, June 5th from 1:00 til 3:00 PM at the Pomfret Town Barn - Chautauqua Road. Sponsored by the Town of Pomfret and the County Health Department. Animals must be restrained or in a carrier. Bring proof of previous immunization. Clinics are staffed by volunteers and members of the Lake Shore Humane Society as well as several Town Board members. Dr. Katie Ball is the attending veterinarian.

House Number Signs

Here's a photo of Councilman Charles Civiletto with a brand new house number sign installed at his house on Van Buren Road. Councilman Civiletto says the price is $10 for the numbered sign with 2 bolts, plus an additional $5 for a post. The sign can be attached to an Observer post as shown or a new post can be installed for the sign. The sign can be configured for a vertical installation as show, or a horizontal installation. The Fredonia Volunteer Fireman say the sign must installed on the same side of the road as the house with the best placement near the driveway to allow Emergency Responders to find your address as quickly as possible.
