SOLAR GENERATION PLANT APPLICATION UNDER
LOCAL LAW NO. 2 OF 2016
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Town Board of the Town or Pomfret will hold a Public Hearing on July 13, 2022 at 6:15 pm at the Town Hall, 9 Day Street, Fredonia New York, to review the application of R. Chadwick Land Holdings LLC/Saturn Power for a proposed solar photovoltaic generation facility with a name plate capacity of 5 MW/6.5 MWdc solar generation array to be located on property owned by R. Chadwick Land Holdings LLC at 5208 West Main Road, in the Town of Pomfret. The property is also known as tax map SBL 128.00-2-59.
The applicant seeks a special use permit under the Solar Facilities Regulation Law of the Town of Pomfret. They also seek variances to certain requirements therein. The proposed project has approximately 9,900 solar PV Modules and 20 Inverters connected to two separate transformers. The system to be mounted on a fixed-tilt steel structure. Utilities installed underground, but Generator-tie in line above ground.
A complete copy of the application is on file in the Office of the Town Clerk and available for public inspection during business hours.
Please take further notice that the Town Board will consider all matters relating to SEQR at the hearing.
All interested parties will be heard, and may submit written comments to the Town Board in advance of the public hearing.
